Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop web-based front-end and microservices backend applications using Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Python
• Design, implement, and maintain REST APIs for web dashboards, mobile apps, and third-party integrations
• Own services from development through deployment, including production monitoring and participating in on-call rotations
• Partner with Infrastructure, Product, and Design teams to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable software
• Mentor junior engineers and drive the technical roadmap for products supporting over 700k merchants
• Promote the use of AI-powered software engineering tools to improve developer efficiency and code quality
• Advocate for engineering best practices, including CI/CD, DevOps mindsets, and agile methodologies

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of software development experience, preferably in a Full Stack capacity
• Strong proficiency in Java
• Experience with Spring Boot for building microservices
• Professional experience with React and TypeScript
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and document databases (e.g., MongoDB)
• Experience using AI-based software engineering and productivity tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Pub/Sub, Kubernetes, or AWS Lambda
• Experience with Kotlin, Python, or LLM prompting techniques
• Previous experience in the payments or fintech industry
• Background in re-architecting systems for high availability and scalability
