Senior Full Stack Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of applications, tools, and user interfaces supporting advanced data processing and command-and-control workflows
• Engage proactively with mission partners to understand operational use cases and convert requirements into technical specifications
• Architect and optimize large scale data analysis pipelines using Spark, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, and distributed data technologies
• Build and refine back end services and APIs that support high-performance data workflows
• Mentor junior developers and foster a high performing engineering culture
• Oversee testing strategies and ensure delivery of stable, high-reliability software

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph
• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and Java
• Experience building React front end applications and Django back end services
• Experience with DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of OpenSearch/Elasticsearch indexing and analytics
• Experience with messaging/task queues like Kafka, gRPC, or Celery
• Proficiency with containerization using Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Experience with Open Telemetry (OTel)
