Senior Full Stack Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Drive system design and architecture decisions for scalability and performance
• Design and develop applications across backend (Java, Spring Boot), frontend (React/Angular), and database (PostgreSQL)
• Act as a technical point of contact and translate business requirements into solutions
• Conduct regular code reviews and enforce standards for security and maintainability
• Mentor developers and assign tasks to ensure timely delivery
• Implement testing strategies using JUnit, Cypress, and Playwright
• Participate in the full software lifecycle within an Agile environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Java Developer
• Proficiency in Java (17+), Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices
• Experience with React or Angular
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL/SQL and Python
• Ability to design and work with scalable, distributed systems
• Must reside within the continental US

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the VA or other Government agencies
• Certifications in Java, Cloud, or Agile methodologies
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to obtain government clearance
