Senior Full Stack Application Developer

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team
• Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and IT planning to meet specific business needs
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process, including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge to analyze complex problems and provide evaluations of business and system processes
• Recommend and develop security measures and operating standards to ensure successful system design
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and advisor to senior stakeholders and mid-level developers
• Appropriately assess risk and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations

Requirements

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in application development or systems analysis
• Extensive experience in software programming and system analysis
• Proven experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Strong proficiency in Microservices design and development
• Hands-on experience with TDD (Test Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior Driven Development)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Technical expertise in Java, Kafka, MongoDB, Spring WebFlux, Kubernetes, Docker, and ElasticSearch
• Experience with Java functional programming and Reactive Frameworks
• Certifications in Cloud technologies or Java
• Knowledge of load balancing, caching, and database optimization
