Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality frontend web applications
• Work within a disruptive FinTech environment using modern web frameworks
• Collaborate on technological products involving blockchain and securities

Requirements

• Extensive experience with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
• Experience with jQuery
• Experience with modern frameworks like Angular, Ember, or React.js
• 1.5+ years of experience with Python and Flask (or 2.5+ years with similar frameworks)
• Extensive experience with SQL and APIs (REST, JSON-RPC, etc.)
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub
• 1+ years of experience with Linux (Ubuntu and Bash preferred)
• Must be able to relocate to the NYC metro area within 6-9 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous UI/UX design experience
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), unit testing, and functional testing
• Experience with Scrum, XP, or Agile methodologies
• Bitcoin development experience or knowledge of public key cryptography
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Celery, PostgreSQL, Redis, HAProxy, Nginx, Selenium, Docker, AWS, or NoSQL
