Senior Frontend Engineer (React Native)

Lendable is on a mission to build the world's best technology to help people get credit and save money. We are one of the UK’s newest unicorns and a leading fintech company, having rebuilt consumer finance products like loans, credit cards, and car finance from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Focus on the React Native mobile application for the Lenda brand in Mexico
• Deliver high-quality features and evolve a clean, scalable frontend codebase
• Collaborate with backend engineers to agree on API behaviors through documented contracts
• Partner with product stakeholders to deliver high-impact improvements
• Break down business requirements into deliverable tasks and estimate implementation complexity

Requirements

• Solid understanding of recent TypeScript versions
• Commercial experience with React Native and React/NextJS
• Experience with automated testing approaches and the testing pyramid
• Ability to leverage AI development tooling to accelerate delivery
• B2 (Intermediate) level written and spoken English
• Understanding of user needs across various platforms and devices

Preferred Qualifications

• Working proficiency in Spanish
• Experience using GraphQL in a production environment
• Knowledge of mobile performance best practices and debugging
• Experience with staged rollouts and multivariate testing
• Familiarity with web accessibility guidelines and tooling
• Experience in UI/UX design
• Experience scaling products from zero to hundreds of thousands of users
