Senior Frontend Engineer

At HomeVision, we’re modernizing the technology that powers the U.S. home valuation industry. Our platform helps appraisal professionals analyze properties, manage workflows, and produce trusted valuations for a $40 trillion asset class.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship high-quality product features using React and TypeScript
• Design interfaces that make complex workflows and data understandable and efficient
• Help define and evolve our shared component library and frontend architecture
• Establish and promote best practices for frontend engineering
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers
• Mentor and guide other frontend engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions
• Improve performance, usability, and accessibility across the product
• Help adopt and refine AI-assisted development workflows

Requirements

• Strong experience building production React applications with TypeScript
• Experience designing maintainable frontend architecture in growing codebases
• Experience building or maintaining shared UI component libraries or design systems
• Track record of raising the bar for frontend quality through code review and mentorship
• Strong product instincts and empathy for end users
• Ability to take ownership of meaningful product areas
• Comfort collaborating across engineering, product, and design

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building complex user-facing products with rich data or workflows
• Experience improving performance and scalability of large React applications
• Experience with modern frontend tooling and developer experience improvements
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor
• Experience working in high-growth startup environments
