Senior Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver functionality regularly and reliably
• Write automated tests for all functionality
• Continuously improve coding practices
• Assist with architectural decisions
• Support engineering managers in promoting robust, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions
• Guide best practices and evaluate frameworks/toolchains for the Web team

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years of frontend web development experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript and ReactJS
• 2+ years of experience with TypeScript and/or Flow
• 2+ years of experience with Redux
• 1+ years of experience with React Native
• Experience with animations, gestures, and deep linking in React Native
• Ability to compile and package Android and iOS apps
• Basic understanding of native Android and iOS code
• Experience with automated testing
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience debugging React Native for both Android and iOS
• Interest in learning Ionic and Electron
• Contributions to open-source frontend projects
• Experience mentoring junior team members
