Senior Front Office Developer - Systematic Trading

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance trading algorithms and infrastructure using Java to ensure speed and reliability in a cloud-deployed environment.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders to translate complex mathematical models into scalable software solutions.
• Optimize memory usage and resource allocation using advanced techniques like memory pooling, off-heap buffering, and cache optimization to minimize latency.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of algorithms in simulated and live environments, analyzing performance metrics for real-time adjustments.
• Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements in the cryptocurrency and high-frequency trading sectors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of software development experience with a focus on high-performance Java.
• Strong proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and memory optimization techniques.
• Expertise in quantitative mathematics and statistical analysis for implementing trading and risk management models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within high-frequency trading environments or top-tier financial institutions.
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency markets, trading platforms, and blockchain technology.
