Senior FPGA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement new FPGA applications from the ground up including synthesis, place & route, and static timing analysis
• Research and evaluate cutting-edge FPGA hardware and technologies
• Propose creative solutions to overcome FPGA and hardware limitations
• Liaise directly with software and other design teams
• Conduct lab debugging and characterization of new hardware

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer or Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in hardware engineering, specifically with FPGA
• 2+ years of experience writing Verilog RTL logic design
• Experience in FPGA design flow including synthesis, place & route, and static timing analysis
• Experience with system-on-chip (SOC) architectures, memory & processor subsystems, networking, and peripheral interconnect
• Knowledge of the TCP/IP stack
• Strong working knowledge of XILINX or ALTERA FPGA design flow

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with functional verification utilizing high-level methodologies such as System Verilog
