Responsibilities

  • Design performant, low-latency, and deterministic FPGA configurations
  • Diagnose, root-cause, and resolve complex hardware/software defects
  • Author technical documentation including architectural specifications and test plans
  • Maintain expert-level proficiency in FPGA architecture and HDLs
  • Scout evolving state-of-the-art FPGA technologies and SoC architectures

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Systems, or Mechatronics
  • 5+ years of hands-on FPGA development experience in high-reliability environments
  • Proven experience with AMD/Xilinx (Vivado) and Microchip toolchains
  • Deep expertise in VHDL and advanced timing constraints (SDC/XDC)
  • Experience with clock domain crossing (CDC) and clock management (PLLs/MMCMs)
  • Proficiency in DSP implementation including digital control loops
  • Experience interfacing with high-speed data converters (ADCs/DACs)
  • Knowledge of high-speed memory and digital interfaces (DDR3/DDR4, PCIe)
  • Strong debugging skills using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with FPGA verification methodologies and testbench development
  • Familiarity with Python, MATLAB, or Bash for automation
  • Experience with sensor systems, navigation, or signal processing
  • Familiarity with UVVM, OSVVM, or UVM frameworks
  • Understanding of optics and optoelectronics
