Senior Founding Engineer

Ambral builds digital models of people and teams that predict what they’ll do next. We graduated from Y Combinator Summer 2025, raised millions in funding, and are already deploying Ambral within multi-billion dollar enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Develop the core platform to ingest data and synthesize “digital twins"
• Build agentic systems to act on data (e.g., Voice, SMS, and Email agents)
• Work on memory representation and refinement of customer models
• Design detection frameworks and agent primitives
• Manage distributed systems to run thousands of agents in parallel
• Implement evaluation frameworks to guarantee agent improvement
• Interface directly with customers and own engagements end-to-end

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development with distributed architectures
• Experience building AI systems or pipelines
• Understanding of reliability and observability in AI systems
• Experience with systems that process and transform massive amounts of data
• Ability to make practical architectural tradeoffs to ship fast while maintaining scalability
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex ideas to non-technical people
