Senior Foundation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop core C#, TypeScript, and Rust libraries that serve as the backbone for Proton Drive's applications
• Ensure cross-platform compatibility and optimal performance across various platforms
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, mobile, and desktop developers to integrate core libraries
• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit and integration tests
• Create and maintain thorough documentation for core libraries

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong focus and expertise in the Rust programming language
• Deep understanding of Rust language features, concurrency, and ownership models
• Experience developing libraries for web, mobile, and/or desktop client applications
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
