Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy robust software systems, tooling, and automation for customer solutions on Snowflake
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and modern data architectures
• Analyze and optimize data models, queries, and processing workflows for performance and cost-effectiveness
• Evaluate and implement modern data integration tools within the Snowflake ecosystem
• Provide expert technical guidance, mentorship, and training to client teams
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, performance bottlenecks, and operational issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Proficiency in Spark ecosystem
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or C++
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data lake concepts
• Ability to work in a client-facing environment
• Willingness to travel up to 20%

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
• Experience developing AI/ML applications
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience implementing solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud
