Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own post-sale implementation workstreams from kickoff through production launch and early customer success
• Translate customer support workflows into concrete technical plans, milestones, and launch criteria
• Build and debug integrations across CRMs, ticketing platforms, CCaaS tools, and internal APIs
• Configure and extend Maven using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, APIs, and webhooks
• Design and run practical quality checks for AI behavior, including retrieval quality and action correctness
• Partner with Product and Engineering to identify platform gaps and reusable implementation patterns
• Communicate clearly with customer operators, technical teams, and executives

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering, implementation, or forward deployed engineering experience
• Strong hands-on coding ability in JavaScript/Node.js
• Strong API and integration judgment (REST, webhooks, auth, error handling)
• Experience taking complex customer-facing technical projects from ambiguity to production
• Practical understanding of AI/LLM systems, including prompting, retrieval, and evals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High ownership and ability to work with ambiguous requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with customer support systems like Salesforce, Zendesk, or ServiceNow
• Experience with CCaaS or voice platforms like Genesys, Five9, or Twilio
• Experience with data integration or ETL tools like Workato or Fivetran
• Knowledge of security and compliance (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA)
• Experience at an AI company or high-growth SaaS company
