Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with AI labs and cross-functional stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into actionable engineering plans
• Own the design, architecture, and delivery of tailored, production-grade solutions for complex customer needs
• Mentor and uplevel other engineers through code reviews and architectural guidance
• Make key architectural decisions regarding reliability, scalability, and security
• Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on tools in response to real-time feedback
• Create and maintain technical playbooks, documentation, and frameworks to scale deployments

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience in customer-facing, solutions-oriented, or forward-deployed roles
• Strong proficiency with ReactJS and TypeScript
• Deep understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), data modeling, and system design
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP), deployment pipelines, and production operations at scale
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects end-to-end in ambiguous environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience architecting production systems for LLMs or AI-powered products
• Background in building component libraries, design systems, or reusable deployment frameworks
• Experience with performance optimization and scaling full-stack applications
• Prior experience in forward-deployed, solutions engineering, or technical consulting roles
