Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with customer engineering teams as a trusted technical peer to lead discovery and solutioning
• Own end-to-end technical implementation of Deepgram’s voice AI platform for enterprise customers
• Adapt and configure the platform to meet unique operational requirements like POS integrations and ordering flows
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in live production deployments
• Codify deployment patterns into tools, playbooks, and reference architectures
• Translate real-world deployment challenges into actionable requirements for product and engineering teams

Requirements

• Excellent software engineering skills with comfort working across APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and cloud infrastructure
• Deep commitment to customer technical success and production excellence
• Ability to learn fast and operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
• Strong communication skills to build credibility with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proficiency using AI coding tools to accelerate development

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with voice AI, speech-to-text, NLP, or conversational AI systems
• Experience in early-stage startups or founder-led environments
• Experience embedded within large enterprise customer product deployments
