Senior Food Scientist, Beverage

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex finished product development projects from ideation through scale-up and commercialization
• Develop finished product formulations using IFF technologies
• Partner with Production and Quality teams to support trials, scale-up, QA, and QC activities
• Provide technical expertise on complex formulation and process challenges
• Contribute to regional and global innovation programs
• Collaborate with internal and external customer networks
• Deliver technical services such as plant trials and customer training
• Present technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the industrial food, ingredient, or flavor industry
• At least 5 years of specialization experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related discipline
• Proven independent project management experience
• Strong knowledge of formulation and ingredient functionality
• Ability to be on-site in a lab/pilot plant environment 5 days per week
• Willingness to travel up to 20%
