About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of foreign partner programs and support the National Advanced Surface to Air Missile System (NASAMS) team.
- Work with Prime Contractors to develop, integrate, and test NASAMS architecture for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases.
- Assess customer requests for country-unique hardware and software requirements, including Cross Domain Solutions and unique data links.
- Provide the USG with technical feasibility assessments, risk analysis, and insights into the reasonableness of cost estimates.
- Engage with international customers to define requirements and align NASAMS capability for Letter of Request (LOR) processes.
- Participate in System Requirements Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, and Critical Design Reviews.
- Evaluate OEM and supplier technical and cost proposals to identify risks and opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
- Minimum 20 years of relevant experience (Master's degree with 18 years or Doctorate with 16 years).
- Active security clearance.
- In-depth knowledge of NASAMS architecture, including functional, technical, and operational knowledge of Major End Items (MEIs).
- Proven experience with the defense acquisition process, including budget and timelines.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Program Management certification.
- Knowledge of Patriot Air Defense and HAWK/HAWK XXI Air Defense systems.
- Experience working directly with the NASAMS team, Program Office, and US government stakeholders.
- Multidisciplinary background spanning software, program management, and engineering.
