About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise national negotiations for mobile equipment (on-road, off-road, locomotives), diesel, and short-term rentals to optimize total cost and service quality.
  • Develop and implement supplier strategies to achieve the best total cost of ownership (TCO) and value-added proposals.
  • Manage the integration of category teams and ensure team members are empowered to achieve their objectives.
  • Evaluate national suppliers using Strategic Sourcing Methodology to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Lead new negotiation practices and identify new national suppliers based on global and domestic market trends.
  • Ensure suppliers comply with all terms and conditions agreed upon during the negotiation process.
  • Manage the implementation of operational and corporate purchasing policies across the USA.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
  • 10+ years of experience working within operational departments.
  • 10+ years of experience in team management.
  • 5+ years of experience leading multifunctional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Supply Chain, or Business.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a related advanced degree.
  • Proficiency in a second language.
  • In-depth knowledge of sustainability practices and market intelligence strategies.
