Senior Flavour Application Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize high-quality flavour application solutions across beverage, confectionery, bakery, and dairy categories
• Evaluate market products and customer targets to produce prototype samples
• Lead the creation and improvement of application recipes, methods, and lab processes
• Provide expert technical guidance to internal teams and customers to support strategic projects
• Conduct sensory evaluation and quality monitoring to ensure product stability and consistency
• Investigate innovative raw materials and technologies to strengthen the future portfolio
• Deliver internal trainings and workshops on applications, ingredients, and best practices

Requirements

• University degree in Food Science or equivalent experience
• Over 5 years of professional R&D and application experience in the flavour or food & beverage industry
• Technical development expertise in beverages, confectionery, bakery, and dairy products
• Strong knowledge of food technology, food science, and food processing
• Proficiency in O365 and general computer literacy
• Fluency in both German and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong leadership, networking, and influencer skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines under pressure
• Experience with Confluence, Jira, Excel, CRM, and ERP systems
