About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative and winning flavor solutions specifically for the Beverage and Sweet Food categories
- Partner closely with global enterprise accounts to drive sales and meet customer-specific needs
- Manage multiple creative projects concurrently with high speed, accuracy, and efficiency
- Mentor future Flavorists through the ADM Flavorist Academy and open information sharing
- Collaborate with Marketing and Account Managers to identify new opportunities and promote category competencies
- Work with integrated flavor and extract development teams to define a robust portfolio of flavoring ingredients
- Travel up to 25% to support customer relationships and business needs
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in the flavor industry with a proven track record in Sweet and Beverage categories
- 10+ years of experience working as a Flavor Chemist on the bench
- Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field
- Membership in good standing in the Society of Flavor Chemists
- Deep knowledge of flavor raw materials, flavor chemistry, and composition
- Technical expertise in manufacturing processes and delivery technologies, including spray drying, citrus, and emulsions
- Strong project management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
