About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine dealership visits to assess Aftersales operations, engaging with Sales, Aftersales staff, and executive leadership.
  • Provide consultative coaching and develop actionable improvement plans to drive growth in Accessories, Parts, and Service (APS).
  • Evaluate dealership operations using core customer experience mindsets to strengthen the value proposition and brand loyalty.
  • Drive adoption of Aftersales core processes, including initiation, reception, communication, delivery, and follow-up.
  • Perform financial and operational analysis to identify opportunities in staffing, throughput, sales effectiveness, and facility utilization.
  • Review APS performance, financial statements, and inventory management to improve cash flow and absorption rates.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to develop strategies that maximize APS sales and market development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive Marketing and Sales experience.
  • 3+ years of analytical experience within the automotive industry.
  • 2+ years of experience in a dealer contact support role or equivalent.
  • Ability to travel more than 75% (including day and overnight domestic travel).
  • Must reside in the San Diego, CA area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience supervising others.
  • Previous experience in a professional sales capacity.
  • Proficiency in sales-related systems and advanced spreadsheet applications.
