Senior Fit-out/Joinery Estimator

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive and competitive cost estimates for high-end interior fit-out and joinery projects
• Manage the full tender process, including interpreting drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Develop and maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for various projects
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and suppliers to determine material, labour, and equipment costs
• Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure best value
• Identify and propose value engineering solutions to optimize project budgets
• Manage a team of estimators to ensure accurate and timely submissions
• Review and analyze contractor claims for accuracy
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of proven cost estimation experience in interior fit-out or joinery projects within the UAE/GCC
• Strong expertise in high-end finishes, bespoke joinery, custom-made furniture, and complex MEP services
• In-depth knowledge of local market rates for materials, labour, and subcontractors in the UAE/GCC
• Proven experience handling FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) costing
• Proficiency in MS Excel and specialized estimation software
• Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen to assess tender risks
