Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deliver new features and performance improvements to the comms firmware stack (4G/5G, LoRa, Wi-Fi/HaLow, Zigbee)
- Own comms firmware through its full lifecycle from requirements and design to mass deployment
- Work at the edge of ultra-low power design, balancing radio performance, battery life, and reliability
- Drive improvements to quality and testing systems for RF/wireless firmware
- Collaborate with network, software, and engineering teams to ship high-impact features
- Support and mentor other engineers through design conversations and code reviews
Requirements
- Experience designing and delivering complex embedded firmware for resource-constrained devices
- Hands-on experience with 4G/5G/3GPP, LoRa, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi HaLow, Zigbee, or other RF/wireless protocols
- Proficiency working with low-level hardware, radio stacks, and resource-constrained systems
- Strong team player with excellent feedback skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in software, electronics, or mechatronics engineering
