Senior Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define FW architecture including HW selection, HAL layers, and features like OTA and UDS
• Develop algorithms and state machines to process data and compute critical parameters like Sox
• Manage the full lifecycle from design and development to production deployment and debugging
• Implement safety and reliability protocols including FMEA and code/risk reviews

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience delivering production code for high-volume embedded devices
• Strong proficiency in embedded C/C++ and RTOS/Linux
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python or Shell
• Deep knowledge of ARM/DSP microcontrollers, ADCs, GPIOs, and protocols like CAN, CANFD, SPI, UART, and USB
• Familiarity with static code analysis tools such as LDRA or Polyspace
• Understanding of automotive standards including MISRA C and ISO26262
• Experience with Git and Agile development environments
