About the role
Responsibilities
- Contribute to firmware for next-generation interconnect technologies including PCIe, CXL, MCTP, UBM, and USB4
- Develop low-level firmware for embedded systems within an RTOS environment
- Engage in pre-silicon validation activities such as co-simulation with IP and SOC emulation
- Support post-silicon enablement and production cycle efforts
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams including BIOS, power management, architecture, and design to deliver integrated solutions
Requirements
- Specialist in C with strong proficiency in C++ or Python
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end firmware development from pre-silicon to production
- Demonstrated proficiency in firmware lab debug, triaging, and implementing bug fixes for silicon bring-up
- Comfortable working in a Linux build environment
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Engineering Science, or Computer Science
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of device driver or embedded firmware development experience
- Experience with Zephyr RTOS
- Strong understanding of hardware and software system integration
- Experience with firmware integration testing and debug in pre and post-silicon environments
- Working knowledge of UNIX, Linux, and Windows
