Senior Firmware Engineer (Embedded & RTOS)

Responsibilities

• Contribute to firmware for next-generation interconnect technologies including PCIe, CXL, MCTP, UBM, and USB4
• Develop low-level firmware for embedded systems within an RTOS environment
• Engage in pre-silicon validation activities such as co-simulation with IP and SOC emulation
• Support post-silicon enablement and production cycle efforts
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams including BIOS, power management, architecture, and design to deliver integrated solutions

Requirements

• Specialist in C with strong proficiency in C++ or Python
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end firmware development from pre-silicon to production
• Demonstrated proficiency in firmware lab debug, triaging, and implementing bug fixes for silicon bring-up
• Comfortable working in a Linux build environment
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Engineering Science, or Computer Science

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of device driver or embedded firmware development experience
• Experience with Zephyr RTOS
• Strong understanding of hardware and software system integration
• Experience with firmware integration testing and debug in pre and post-silicon environments
• Working knowledge of UNIX, Linux, and Windows
