Responsibilities

• Attend incident scenes to document and collect evidence and interview witnesses
• Lead investigations into the origin, cause, and development of complex fire and explosion cases
• Produce high-quality technical reports and provide expert witness evidence in court

Requirements

• Proven experience in fire investigation, fire engineering, or forensic science
• Strong analytical skills and ability to apply scientific approaches to forensic examinations
• Valid driving licence and ability to travel frequently across Ireland and the UK

Preferred Qualifications

• Membership to a professional body
• Experience in presenting technical articles or presentations
