Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flows
• Own key areas of the close related to reporting schedules, roll forwards, and disclosure support
• Prepare and maintain financial statement footnotes for debt, equity, leases (ASC 842), and revenue
• Coordinate directly with external auditors and respond to audit requests
• Assist with the application and documentation of complex accounting matters and prepare technical memos
• Improve financial reporting processes, templates, and documentation
• Partner with FP&A on variance explanations and management reporting

Requirements

• 3+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
• CPA certification required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and advanced understanding of cash flow statement preparation
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros)
• Experience with complex debt structures and equity transactions

Preferred Qualifications

• Public accounting (Big 4 or national firm) experience
• Experience with private equity-backed or highly leveraged companies
• Real estate, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industry experience
• NetSuite experience
• Knowledge of IFRS
