Senior Financial Plant Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the Saltillo plant.
• Provide detailed variance analysis regarding volume, price, mix, and cost to improve plant profitability.
• Oversee standard costing processes, including cost rollups, BOM accuracy, and routing validation.
• Analyze manufacturing variances such as labor, overhead, material usage, scrap, and purchase price variance (PPV).
• Act as a financial advisor to Microenterprise and Operations teams to drive KPI accountability and support Lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Provide financial oversight for export business, including transfer pricing alignment and margin analysis.
• Ensure accurate monthly financial close, including journal entries, accruals, and reserves.
• Lead internal and external audit support and ensure adherence to corporate financial policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant financial experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong expertise in cost accounting and standard costing.
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP or IFRS.
• Experience in export-oriented manufacturing and inflationary/FX-sensitive markets.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, CPA, or CMA certification.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
