About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the Saltillo plant.
- Provide detailed variance analysis regarding volume, price, mix, and cost to improve plant profitability.
- Oversee standard costing processes, including cost rollups, BOM accuracy, and routing validation.
- Analyze manufacturing variances such as labor, overhead, material usage, scrap, and purchase price variance (PPV).
- Act as a financial advisor to Microenterprise and Operations teams to drive KPI accountability and support Lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Provide financial oversight for export business, including transfer pricing alignment and margin analysis.
- Ensure accurate monthly financial close, including journal entries, accruals, and reserves.
- Lead internal and external audit support and ensure adherence to corporate financial policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant financial experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Strong expertise in cost accounting and standard costing.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel capabilities.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP or IFRS.
- Experience in export-oriented manufacturing and inflationary/FX-sensitive markets.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, CPA, or CMA certification.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
