Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead forecasting and financial planning for R&D Studios, including monthly/quarterly cycles, headcount planning, and multi-year incentive modeling.
• Analyze financial performance by reviewing P&L variances, forecast changes, and key cost drivers to provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Manage development project financials, including cost controls, overage management, and ROI validation.
• Drive business partnering with Studio leaders to facilitate forecasting discussions and guide strategic decision-making.
• Oversee the Global Gaming Incentive program, including forecasting, validation, and coordination with Accounting and Payroll.
• Monitor outside services and external testing spend, performing variance analysis and identifying operational issues.
• Prepare financial reporting packages covering P&L analysis, KPI trends, and operational reporting.
• Develop and refine financial models for game-level profitability and new product assessments.
• Ensure data accuracy by validating inputs across internal financial, product management, and sales systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, ideally in FinTech, gaming, or technology.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills.
• Experience with ERP and BI tools (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into insights.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or CPA certification.
• Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, or Gemini.
• Experience implementing new forecasting methods or supervising staff.
