Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare detailed financial reports and analyses using accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting initiatives, including management reporting and financial statement analyses
• Support various firm departments with high-visibility external surveys
• Work closely with FP&A leadership to understand team priorities and serve as a resource for other analysts
• Manage and own ad hoc projects from inception to completion to ensure timely delivery
• Act as a subject matter expert regarding the firm's financial systems and integration
• Utilize SQL, Tableau, and Power Query to provide accurate financial information and data extraction

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressively related work experience
• Expertise in accounting systems and financial reporting
• Experience writing complex database queries and using SQL and Business Intelligence tools
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, pivot tables, macros, and advanced formulas
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to multiple levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a professional services law firm
• CPA certification
