Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Partner with the Merchant Sales leadership team to analyze sales trends, customer performance, pricing, and profitability.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages and explain key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, partnering with stakeholders to develop accurate revenue, volume, margin, and cost projections.
• Monitor key financial and operational metrics, investigate variances, and recommend actions to improve performance and cash flow.
• Drive continuous improvement by streamlining reporting and forecasting processes through automation and improved tools.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or finance.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
• Experience using ERP and reporting tools (e.g., Oracle BI, Hyperion, JD Edwards).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to influence decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA designation or currently a CPA candidate.
