Senior Financial Crime Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into complex financial crime transactions, policy violations, and suspicious situations involving high levels of risk
• Perform risk evaluation and modeling to provide recommendations for financial crimes strategies and models
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, policies, procedures, and processes
• Conduct data and onsite reviews to determine risk levels and recommend fraud prevention strategies
• Detect transactional and relationship patterns, trends, and anomalies across multiple business lines
• Act as an escalation point for complex cases and lead teams to meet critical deliverables
• Partner with leadership to develop innovative strategies to minimize financial crime portfolio risk
• Serve as an organizational liaison for court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations
• Develop and deliver training programs for staff involved in issue detection

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Fraud, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery, or Corruption
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives and contribute to large-scale functional planning
• Experience performing root cause assessments and investigative research
