Senior Financial Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed department analysis of actual expenditure versus budget and forecast, including variance analysis and trend identification.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial packages and dashboards to facilitate management decision-making.
• Review and prepare annual operating budgets and maintain up-to-date forecasts for assigned portfolios.
• Manage monthly financial month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and special financial results.
• Perform profitability analysis and report on accounts receivable by portfolio, program, or patient.
• Collaborate with business area managers and directors to assess risks and opportunities within the business portfolio.
• Prepare formal written and oral presentations for internal and external decision-makers.
• Identify accounting and process issues and provide strategic recommendations for improvement.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and insight generation.

Requirements

• University Degree and Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
• 5 years of experience in a large, complex accounting or auditing environment.
• Proficiency in SAP S4 HANA and EPIC.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., Power Query, Power Pivot, Financial Modelling).
• Proficiency in Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA designation.
• Experience working within a healthcare environment.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives.
