Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated finance partner to WDAS Technology and Operations departments, leading Budget, Forecast, Close, and Long-Range Strategic planning cycles.
• Own the end-to-end Capital reporting process, including tracking project spend, analyzing variances, and managing the approval pipeline for studio investments.
• Partner with Studio Controllership to assist in the quarterly close process.
• Evaluate and communicate financial information and recommendations to department leaders and finance executives in a digestible format.
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives and document relevant policies and procedures.
• Build financial models to consolidate and analyze Studio trends and support ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex ideas for management.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience partnering with Technology, Engineering, or Operations teams.
• CPA or MBA designation.
• Experience with SAP and Cognos.
