Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Integrate financials on monthly and quarterly cycles for the Defense Satellite Systems team
• Create monthly, quarterly, and annual customer Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRs)
• Develop, review, and maintain cost and schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value
• Lead the development and analysis of resource forecasts and Estimates at Completion (EACs)
• Provide variance analyses and financial performance reports to senior management
• Make recommendations to executive leadership regarding financial performance, risks, and opportunities
• Coordinate troubleshooting for process and tool issues to resolve root causes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 3+ years of experience in a finance-related position (e.g., Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, or PFA)
• 3+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
• 3+ years of experience with Estimates at Complete (EAC)
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, and linking worksheets)
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong presentation skills for Senior Leadership briefings
• Experience leading projects or teams with minimal direct supervision
• Proficiency with Deltek, COGNOS, COBRA, or other Earned Value Management software
• Experience with financial planning processes and tools
