Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted finance partner to clinical, operational, and administrative leaders across MSK
• Build advanced financial models, benchmarking analyses, and decision-support tools for capital and operating initiatives
• Prepare business cases, financial analyses, and presentations to support senior leadership prioritization and funding decisions
• Lead in-depth financial analysis related to cost savings, reinvestment initiatives, and new programs or projects
• Support performance improvement initiatives by developing financial baselines and tracking realized impact
• Produce clear, executive-level financial and capital reporting for senior leaders and governance committees
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts while serving as a quality control resource

Requirements

• 4-5 years of progressive experience in finance, financial planning, accounting, or revenue cycle management
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and executive-level reporting
• Proven ability to support capital planning, operating budgets, and complex financial initiatives
• Strong critical thinking and collaborative skills to influence diverse stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare or hospital finance experience
• Experience with Strata or enterprise financial systems
