Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the plant standard costing structure and validate cost center rates
• Ensure reliable separation of variable and fixed costs and monitor absorption logic
• Provide product-level and part-family profitability transparency to support decision-making
• Validate labor standards, routing assumptions, and BOM structures in collaboration with Industrial Engineering
• Convert labor and overhead variance drivers into disciplined cost monitoring and steering mechanisms
• Support the ERP transition by ensuring validated cost structures are properly migrated
• Translate operational performance and efficiency gaps into measurable financial impact for plant leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 8-12+ years of manufacturing finance experience
• Strong background in standard costing environments and plant-level cost accounting
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, labor standards, and routing logic
• ERP experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on data capability and the ability to work with shop-floor teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in heavy manufacturing or industrial equipment
• Exposure to high-mix or engineered-to-order environments
• Familiarity with structured cost accounting systems that separate variable and fixed costs
• Experience with ERP implementation
