Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide financial accounting support, including analyzing and preparing routine and non-routine journal entries
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and conduct structured data analyses for consolidated results
• Produce accurate reports from the accounting system to ensure completeness of records
• Prepare sales tax filings in compliance with federal and provincial requirements
• Maintain compliance with internal financial controls and IFRS reporting standards
• Participate in monthly financial analysis, discussions of results, and annual budget development
• Support continuous improvement projects related to financial systems and business processes

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting
• CPA designation or close to obtaining designation
• 3+ years of experience in a similar financial analyst role
• Working understanding of the IFRS reporting framework
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with SAP
