Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assist the VP of FP&A with updating OpEx templates and departmental KPI scorecards for month-end close and financial reporting
• Partner with Accounting to review month-end close details and ensure operating expense accruals are properly booked
• Research and provide explanations for budget versus actual variances in operating expense details
• Collaborate with department owners to understand vendor costs and ensure billed invoices are accurate
• Contribute to updating sales, margin, and inventory receipt projections from Planning and cross-functional teams
• Monitor requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor invoices to ensure departmental spend aligns with budget and forecast expectations
• Prepare and quantify financial cost projections for new vendors and technology platforms
• Formulate ad-hoc analytics utilizing various data sources to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) experience
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to summarize large datasets
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, apparel, or consumer sectors
• Advanced competency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting business priorities
