About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical accounting consultation and revenue recognition guidance on complex customer contracts and business deals.
  • Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive Revenue Recognition accounting policy in compliance with ASC 606.
  • Monitor new accounting pronouncements and determine related accounting, policy, and reporting impacts.
  • Support external auditors during annual and quarterly revenue recognition audits.
  • Maintain compliance with internal control procedures surrounding revenue recognition and policy documentation.
  • Consult with business leaders to guide and influence long-term strategic decision-making.
  • Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function globally.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior analysts.

Requirements

  • University degree in business or economics.
  • 10+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
  • Deep expertise in accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in a variety of different finance functions.
