About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support month-end close activities for the Life Sciences business, including accruals and account reconciliations.
  • Ensure accuracy of monthly product code and legal entity financials while resolving transactional and system issues.
  • Provide FP&A support for monthly and quarterly financials, forecasts, budgets, and five-year strategic plans.
  • Prepare monthly review packages highlighting key trends, variances, and recommended actions to address performance gaps.
  • Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to explain financial results and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Perform routine and ad hoc analysis and drive process improvements through SOP documentation and simplification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or an equivalent technical degree.
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, general ledger systems, and forecasting tools.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and the inter-workings of financial statements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to process large amounts of data into simple, easily understood talking points.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft, SAP, and Khalix.
  • Experience with AI, Power BI, or other data management tools.
