Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Partner with operations on budgeting, forecasting, product costing, and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Participate in the preparation of annual manufacturing budget plans and quarterly forecasts.
• Support standard product costing by verifying routings, bills of materials, and component costs.
• Assist in month-end closing activities, including reviewing spending accuracy and proposing accruals.
• Provide management with manufacturing performance reports, including analysis of yields, scrap, and rework.
• Review capital expenditure requests and monitor construction in progress projects for timely capitalization.
• Support operational managers with overhead analysis and budget control.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or Economics.
• 6 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Engineering roles.
• At least 2 years of specific experience in Finance.
• Knowledge of integrated cost accounting systems and information systems.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Ability to work 100% on-site in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Advanced knowledge of information systems, specifically SAP.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
