Senior Financial Accountant

Responsibilities

• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting processes for Pacific entities.
• Prepare monthly financial performance analysis, including balance sheet commentary and quarterly board reporting packs.
• Manage daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reporting requirements to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal governance.
• Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual finance processes and reporting activities.
• Use SQL and data tools to improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and scalable reporting solutions.
• Strengthen and maintain financial controls, support internal and external audits, and document key financial processes.

Requirements

• 4-6+ years of post-qualified experience in accounting, financial control, and reporting.
• CA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the Fintech or Financial Services industry.
• Proficiency in SQL or Python for automation purposes.
