Senior Financial Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries including accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets within month-end schedules
• Manage month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analysis
• Liaise with outsourced accounting providers for local ledgers and reporting packs
• Investigate account fluctuations, monitor trends, and research proper accounting treatments
• Address accounting issues for new transactions under local and US GAAP
• Support audit and compliance activities, including audit schedules and internal controls
• Improve existing processes through system enhancements and data integrity improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• CPA, CA Singapore, or ACCA certification
• 4+ years of experience in public or corporate accounting
• 3+ years in a Big 4 assurance role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills
• Proactive problem-solving attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Oracle ERP systems
• Experience in gaming, entertainment, or technology industries
• Experience with US and cross-regional reporting for Southeast Asia entities
• Proficiency in advanced Excel (Power Query) and automation tools
