Senior Financial Accountant

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB
• Ensure correct accounting for provisions, accruals, and depreciation
• Perform account reconciliations, intercompany matching, and financial analyses
• Collaborate closely with Controlling on budget planning, forecasts, and evaluations
• Prepare and coordinate tax returns in cooperation with external consultants
• Manage payment processes and cash management within the DACH region
• Oversee and further develop the Shared Service Center
• Manage fixed asset accounting
• Actively participate in digitalization projects and process optimization
• Work with international stakeholders in the finance environment

Requirements

• Completed commercial training or a degree in Finance/Accounting
• Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) or a comparable qualification is preferred
• Several years of accounting experience, ideally in a senior role
• Very strong knowledge of HGB; IFRS knowledge is a plus
• Experience with ERP systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365)
• Advanced Excel skills and a strong affinity for numbers
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
• Fluent in both German and English
