Senior Financial Accountant

Responsibilities

• Coordinate statutory financial reporting in collaboration with external advisors
• Act as the primary point of contact for external audit, managing timelines and queries
• Oversee corporate income tax compliance, including income tax returns, transfer pricing, and CbC reporting
• Support tax provision processes and ensure timely fulfillment of tax obligations
• Oversee indirect tax compliance processes, such as GST, alongside internal teams
• Promote a strong internal control environment and ensure financial processes are audit-ready
• Support the integration of newly acquired businesses into the local finance environment
• Partner with internal stakeholders to validate financial outputs and resolve accounting matters
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives focused on simplification and automation

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in tax, accounting, or finance within a corporate or professional services environment
• Demonstrated experience in corporate tax (including income tax) and/or statutory financial reporting
• Proven experience partnering with external advisors on tax compliance and reporting
• Solid understanding of accounting standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent)
• Exposure to audit and internal controls
