About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the close process, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning for the Global Merchant SMB business.
- Monitor and explain monthly performance versus targets through detailed variance analysis to highlight risks and opportunities.
- Deliver high-quality dashboards, presentations, and reports with clear narratives for Finance and executive leadership.
- Partner with Business Unit and Corporate FP&A teams to align consolidated results and reporting cadences.
- Collaborate with Investor Relations and senior executives to craft business narratives and provide strategic insights.
- Drive automation and process improvements in forecasting and reporting to increase accuracy and reduce cycle times.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, specifically focusing on revenue and expense management, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Proven experience conducting variance analysis and translating complex data into executive-ready insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (driver-based models, pivot tables, lookups) and Microsoft PowerPoint (executive narratives and visuals).
- Ability to build and maintain financial models and automate reporting using business intelligence tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the payments industry.
- Proficiency with enterprise financial systems such as SAP, BPC, or Oracle.
- Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI or PowerPivot.
- Experience with Palantir Foundry.
