Senior Finance Manager, SMB

Responsibilities

• Lead the close process, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning for the Global Merchant SMB business.
• Monitor and explain monthly performance versus targets through detailed variance analysis to highlight risks and opportunities.
• Deliver high-quality dashboards, presentations, and reports with clear narratives for Finance and executive leadership.
• Partner with Business Unit and Corporate FP&A teams to align consolidated results and reporting cadences.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations and senior executives to craft business narratives and provide strategic insights.
• Drive automation and process improvements in forecasting and reporting to increase accuracy and reduce cycle times.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, specifically focusing on revenue and expense management, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Proven experience conducting variance analysis and translating complex data into executive-ready insights.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (driver-based models, pivot tables, lookups) and Microsoft PowerPoint (executive narratives and visuals).
• Ability to build and maintain financial models and automate reporting using business intelligence tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the payments industry.
• Proficiency with enterprise financial systems such as SAP, BPC, or Oracle.
• Experience with business intelligence tools like Power BI or PowerPivot.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry.
