Senior Finance Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assess current finance data processes and design optimized future-state solutions leveraging data lake architectures.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement through automation, data integration, and technology upgrades.
• Support the implementation of finance data lakes, data pipelines, and data governance frameworks.
• Design and implement KPIs, dashboards, and control frameworks for O2C, FP&A, P2P, and R2R processes.
• Execute data profiling, quality assessments, and validation using SQL and Excel.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data models.
• Apply accounting knowledge to interpret financial reports and statements within the context of data analytics.
• Lead and mentor junior team members on finance data intelligence projects.

Requirements

• CA, CFA, CPA, MBA, or Master’s degree in Finance or a related field.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience in finance data intelligence, finance analytics, or the finance domain.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of finance functions including Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), and Order to Cash (O2C).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP (ERP/HANA) or Oracle GL.
• Knowledge of financial consolidation tools (HFM) and finance data lake platforms.
• Experience in finance transformation, ERP implementation, or data governance.
• Understanding of AI models, including GenAI, ML, and Agentic workflows in a finance context.
• Project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
